Cape Town’s swimming facilities consist of Olympic-sized pools, springboard diving pools and splash pools for children. The popular Long Street facility includes a main indoor pool and kiddies’ pool.
The following is not allowed at Long Street Indoor Swimming Pool:
- alcohol
- firearms
- animals
- use of soap
- glass containers
- balls or frisbee games
- underwater diving equipment
- inflatable mattresses and tubes
- playing of music
- preparation of food

Monday to Sunday and public holidays
07:00 - 19:00
tuesdays - ladies only
Long Street Indoor Swimming Pool is reserved for use by ladies only every Tuesday from 10:00 – 14:00, or 10:00 - 13:00 during school holidays. If a public holiday falls on a Tuesday then full public use will be permitted that day.
